Great Five Star reviews adventure series for YA and up. A modern day teen gets mysteriously transported to the early 18th Century and has to make her way in that world and meets up with pirates. https://store.doceblant.com/product/sarafina-book-1-2/
The Battle Of The Reds And The Greys: by Terry Sewell, an endearing children’s story…being compared to the children’s classic Watership Down by the late Richard Adams.
The Aviator’s Wife by Melanie Benjamin. It’s about Anne Lindbergh. You’ll never think of Charles Lindbergh the same way again. He had mistresses and illegitimate children, plus he was very racist.
I am too so I have been listening to some very cool podcast series. One is called Wolverine: The Long Night. It’s a very dark, mystery/ fantasy series. The other is called The Bright Sessions. Its about a group of people with special abilities going to a psychiatrist. So far it’s awesome.
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch The Mirror by Marlys Millhiser Replay by Ken Grimwood Relic by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child (The 1st of 18 books in the Pendergast series. I recommend all!)
Mildred In Disguise, With Diamonds Fiction/crime/humor Not your usual hero. Mildred expected a comfortable retirement. But when her husband died, his secrets changed everything. She doesn’t have the luxury of a graceful old age, she takes the job the casino offers-undercover security. https://www.amazon.com/dp/154495669X/
If you like CIA type thrillers try the Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn
If you like historical fiction I recommend A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, Those Who Save Us by Jenna Blum, or The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
I just started Beggars in Spain by Nancy Kress and I really like it so far. It’s the first of a series called Sleepless. Geneticly altered people who no longer need sleep.
