Forest Ranger had a booklet if “Colonial Health Remedies” (or something along those lines); read it around the campfire one night. Coincidentally, one of the old timey treatments ended up coming in very handy a few weeks later. Bottom line, read something totally different. ?
I love just about anything honestly. From Harding, to King, to romance but recently I’ve been reading a lot of drama and heartache. I’ve been reading Chevy Stephens books and just finished Lovely bones.
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gorden by Stephen King, story of a young girl who gets lost on the Appalachian Trail. I’m not normally a King fan but this was excellent.
Happy camping 🙂
Desert Solitaire: A Season in the Wilderness by Edward Abbey
A Walk in the Woods
A great book for camping!
The Leisure Seeker
Do you like to be scared while camping? If so, read The Bear by Claire Cameron :).
