I read a variety, I have been reading mostly YA lately. The last book I read was by Ann Rule, it was suggested by a friend. Oh and I forgot, just finished Defending Jacob, I was a little disappointed in that one.
Hmmm… I don’t read YA or non-fiction, so I can’t suggest there. If you like suspense/thriller/mystery I’d suggest Tami Hoag’s Oak Knoll series, or Patricia Cornwell’s Scarpetta series. Alex Grecian writes a series set in Victorian England called Scotland Yard’s Murder Squad. I’ve only read the first book, The Yard, so far, but it was an incredible read! I just got the second book in today and am looking forward to starting it. Ummm… Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer was really good. It’s more in the Harry Potter “age appropriate” range for reading.
Some YA I loved: Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, Carry On by Rainbow Rowell, Love and Other Foreign Words by Erin McCahan, Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver, and Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. I’ve heard amazing things about Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum.
Here is a part of the latest reader review on Amazon: “This novel is a page-turner, sure to enlighten as it entertains. I could not put it down once I started reading because the story-telling is that good. I recommend you pick up a copy and start reading today.” Warning: several people have told me they stayed up into the night to finish, so if you get the book, start the second half during the day!
If you like a good suspense, try “The Bullet” by Mary Louise Kelly or “Lacy Eye” by @Jessica Also @Mary‘s books are fantastic if you haven’t given her a try yet. ??
Try the Daniel Silva spy novels. NYT bestsellers all. I read any interview of him where he said he’d like to write a different genre of novels but his fans keep begging him to keep writing these
Not really, just nothing seems to really keep me wanting to turn the page. I was disappointed in Defending Jacob though. I have 3 that I have started but I just don’t want to stick to them. I think I want the sky opens up and harps are playing experience! ?
Another shameless self-promoter! 😉 but I’ve been receiving 4 and 5 star reviews on Amazon & Goodreads so that says something! 🙂 check out BECAUSE OF SAVANNAH if you want. no worries if not. it’s an easy read w/ fun loving characters! and I think you will like Mrs. White-Savannah’s Sunday school teacher and head of Bible camp in the summer. She puts “Jesus loves you” on everything & at first protagonist Dakota rolls her eyes at this but their relationship builds into an endearing one. If you don’t want to buy it Heather Annan Archer please ask your public library to order it. I would love it in Missouri! 🙂 I don’t make any money w/ a library sale but that is not my main concern. I honestly just want readers to enjoy my debut novel! Thank You & good luck w/ finding your next read. http://www.sarahpatt.com/

Not really, just nothing seems to really keep me wanting to turn the page.
I was disappointed in Defending Jacob though.
I have 3 that I have started but I just don’t want to stick to them.
I think I want the sky opens up and harps are playing experience! ?
@Heather Do you have a preferred genre?
I truly like a variety. From chick lit, to suspense, historical fiction. I don’t often read non fiction but have and have enjoyed them.
