Born a Crime by Trevor Noah, Lucky Man by Michael J Fox, Not my Father’s Son by Alan Cumming, The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls are some I really enjoyed
I love memoirs! My faves are Unloved by Peter Roche, Kat Ward’s Keri series, and Toni Maguire’s memoirs – her own and the ones she writes for other survivors. I also love Angela’s Ashes by Frank McCourt.
I don’t know if you’d count it as a memoir but Troublemaker was pretty interesting. And I just finished We’re Going to Need More Wine which was hilarious. And I’m gearing up to get The Mother of Black Hollywood but I want to get it on audible because Jenifer Lewis is EVERYTHING.
It depends on the memoir. I loved reading Russian Tattoo by Elena Gorok(sp). It is about a Russian immigrant moving to America to get away from her family but then her family moves to America as well.
It really depends. I love memoirs from the Golden Age of Hollywood, but not actors of today. Historical military figures of the Civil War. I’ve read and own most of them. Others depending on the subject.
