Limited funds....which do I buy? The Kiss of Deception trilogy (Remnant Chronicles) or The Darkest Minds series? Which is better??

I really enjoyed The Remnant Chronicles! It gets better with each book. The Darkest Minds is on my tbr. I own the first book and the last book, lol.
