I liked the Liquor series by Poppy Brite. Follows a couple in New Orleans who want to open a specialty restaurant. There are three books and each one turns into a sort of mystery.
Most of Brite’s work have same sex couples, they’re never really the theme of the book, just how the characters are. She generally writes horror, but Liquor and the two following books are more mystery/literary fiction
Call Me by Your Name and Simon vs the Homosapien’s Agenda were great. I just read the follow up to Simon called Leah on the Offbeat and I don’t highly recommend ?
My TBR this month Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue Beast Of Fire and Stars Before I Let Go Cut Both Ways Adaptation The Upside of Unrequited (re-read) Carry On Reign of The Fallen That Inevitable Victorian Thing Hold Me Closer: the Tiny Cooper Story Simon Vs The Homosapiens Agenda Stranger Than Fiction
