I finished it recently. I enjoyed it. I don’t know that I quite agree with the amount of hype it’s gotten, but yeah, a good read.
These were real women. Could we have walked in their shoes?
Lisa Tranchetti I know that. It was the writing I felt was lackluster in places. I’m allowed to have an opinion on the quality of the book, without belittling the work the women did.
I don’t belittle people. I was remembering all the scary moments they face. Have a glass of wine and relax. I’m sorry if you are belittled a lot in your life that you attack everyone

Very satisfying. I read “The Great Alone” around the same time so it was a relief to read about smart, competent women after the ninnyhammers in Alone.
