Anything by Robert Silverberg. Or Terry Goodkind…his series is amazing.

That’s interesting. I don’t think I’ve read any sci fi by Goodkind. Only fantasy…which I’ve loved. Which sci fi book of his do you recommend?

Angela

Wizards First Rule is a good one to start with.

Beth

@Angela I loved that series! But I consider that fantasy, not sci fi. You consider it sci fi?

Heather

Fantasy is sometimes classified under the broader header of science fiction. Some people differentiate, but some put them together.

I been thinking about starting ready player one but idk is it good?

@Sydney I mean, I loved it, but I’m also a gamer. I’m not sure how the experience would differ if I weren’t extensively familiar with 80’s pop culture (movies/video games). However, I did read it with my Book Club (all women between 25-35) and everyone loved it with or without the references
