Recently read, I Can Only Imagine (Bart Millard of MercyMe’s memoir). Powerful read!
I saw the movie. I don’t think I have the emotional strength for the book.
@Susie The end of the book (not included in the movie) was really heartbreaking!
I honestly don’t think I could handle it. The guy they picked to play Bart in the movie was fantastic. I know there was some literary license taken with the movie but overall it got the point across ?❤

That’s the way I felt about “Gone Girl.” I just couldn’t see what everyone was so excited about.
My friend I recommended it to hated it so you aren’t the only one! Haha! Actually both those books!
Thankfully we don’t all have the same taste in literature. This is what makes the world interesting.

Well, I guess I liked it because I could identify with it……growing up with alcoholic parents in a dysfunctional family……..AND I DO like true stories.
