I kind of just liked the book in general. I liked seeing the characters develop, the subtle notes of the supernatural were fun, and the relationships were ridiculous but also surprisingly deep with backstories for a majority of them that lead them to be what they became.
@Alice you didn’t find it depressing? I mean at one point I laughed at Heath cliff but everyone is so morose after Catherine dies that the chapters drags, and then when Edgar and Isabella are plotting to kill Heath cliff it gets so heavy
@Atlanta There were parts that were really dark, but—without going into a drawn out explanation/English majory rant—I was reading it for Heathcliff and his reaction to her death. He’s the craziest person and I kind of thought the entire reason he inherited everything was funny. Their hatred and live for each other was fun to watch okay out
