How did you all find Water for Elephants?
It’s an amazing book. I loved it!
I loved that book! ?
I read it a long time ago. Thought it was very sad, but a good book.
I really loved it. And the movie was good too.
I was wandering around the bookstore and it just happened to be on a shelf of employee recommended books.
Loved the book. Made me uncomfortable in parts. The movie was ok.
Absolutely loved it!
I’ve just started reading it and I’m struggling to get into it. By the sounds of it, if I just keep going itll get better?
I couldn’t get into it no matter how hard I tried.
@Laura I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’ll keep trying for a bit more and see how I go.
@Sarah I got through it but if I remember correctly it was a slow go.
I could not either.
Been a while but I didn’t think it was as great as everyone was saying at the time. I guess it was just meh for me ?
Thanks everyone! I’ll give it a bit more of a go and see how I feel about it then ?
I loved it and I mostly read suspense thrillers.
Loved it . Read it years ago .
Absolutely loved it, although some parts dragged just a little as I recall.
I really enjoyed it.
I love it and the movie was pretty close which is rare for books turned into a movie thing, the guy that played August really knocked it out of the park in his performance
@Cynthia the movie was spot on for a movie!
@Abby yes it was Robert was amazing as always
I loved it… I got it as a gift. The movie was OK.
I could not finish it. Did not like it at all.
I really enjoyed it! I read it while at work one day but that was probably 9 years ago. I think Its about time for a reread!
Loved the book and movie!!
Great book! Very sad at times; upsetting, but a worthwhile read.
On of the best books I ever read ?
It’s not one I recommend to people.
I loved it. I usually reread it once every year or two
I loved it, but I know many had the opposite reaction.
I found it slow most of the way through, and the twist at the end was the same ?♀️
I havent read the book but loved the movie
I enjoyed it
I loved it. Hannah’s Dream is another good one about an Elephant.
I loved it. Gritty but great!
It was great
Really liked it.
I read the book a couple of times already! I loved it!!
I caved and watched the movie first. Didn’t really think the book would be much better.
Folks, please only comment if you can provide the OP with an opinion of the book, “Water for Elephants.” Irrelevant replies are being deleted.
It is on my tbr….I hope to read it sometime as I have heard such great stuff about it
Love, love, loved it!
It was amazing!
Loved it! Can’t remember if I loved it all the way through, but this book is one of those books that makes me wary of abandoning books because the ending might be great. I’d say if you make it halfway through and still just don’t care, then the ending might not make that much difference to you though—at that point, abandon at will! ?
Loved it, although the ending was improbable.
Very good, my daughter read it and recommended it to me. She is a very occasional reader, so I gobbled up the oppotunity♡
Loved it and one of the few books that I would like to reread as it’s been so long since I did read it.
Wasn’t as great as I was expecting. The writing was good, the romance was annoying, but that’s not cause for a bad review. I was expecting it going in. I found it more depressing than anything and the ending actually made me roll my eyes BUT it was needed I guess
I really liked it.
I liked it
Loved it! But a little hard to read at times due to the animal abuse
@SamanthaThanks for the heads up. I wanted to know if there was any in the story.
Some parts were hard to read, but it was good.
I liked it. Not one of my all time favourites but still a good read.
