Get yourself some Shirley Jackson, M. R. James, Sheridan Le Fanu, Edgar Allen Poe. Roald Dahl also compiled an excellent collection called, I think, ‘Roald Dahl’s Book of Ghost Stories’. Enjoy!
I haven’t read any book with ghosts in it but I’d recommend you keep an eye out for City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab. It will be out this autumn and I am certain it will be amazing – all her books are! 🙂
