I’m getting really into these cosy crimes – the British Crime classics. not really thrillers I guess. Em, well I have loved See What I Have Done by Sarah Schmidt about the real life murders of Lizzie Borden!
Micheal connelly (Harry Bosch series), Chris Carter ” The Crucifix killer”,John Connolly (Irish writer), Charlie Parker series, Jo Nesbo, Tom Rob Smith. Just a few authors. Don’t know whether you would like them or not!
So hard to choose. I love reading series and I have my favorites. American authors J.D. Robb’s In Death Collection, Allison Brennan’s Lucy Kincaid Series (I can go on and on). British authors Angela Marson, Robert Bryndza (Erika Foster series).
Just finished L M Krier’s Wild Thing, the sixth book in the series and in my opinion, the best. It was utterly absorbing and the police procedures spot on as always in her novels. Just started Robert Bryndza’s latest. Enjoyed his last two!
Its been such an amazing year for stand out books. The three crime thrillers that really jump out in my mind though are A Tapping At My Door by David Jackson, The Killing Game by J S Carol and A Suitable Lie by Michael J Malone but there have been many more that have been great reads.
This is why im not doing a list of best books this year as cant narrow it down and last year after id done it i remembered books id missed off and loved. its so hard choosing x
There have been some crackers, Belinda Bauer’s The Beautiful Dead, I Know Your Secret from @Graham, all three of @Caroline‘s releases, the Killing Game from JS @Carol
Loved Victim Without A Face by Stefan Ahnhem!
Yes,I can definitely recommend it as well!
Victim without a face as mentioned, and Michel Bussi’s Black Water Lilies or After the crash !
Disclaimer by Renee Knight. I’d read it again, and it’s very rare I re-read anything!
