I am reading A Column of Fire by Ken Follett and even though I am still only halfway through I can highly recommend it to you, especially if you are interested in non-fiction and romance. It is based on historical facts, taking liberties with the characters of course and the romance is present, but doesn’t overwhelm the story.
Non-fiction I’ve enjoyed recently: Being Mortal by Atul Gawande, Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot, Katie up and down the hall by Glenn Plaskin, a charming memoir that includes the author’s first-hand account of the destruction of the Twin Towers on 9/11 and its aftermath.
My recent favourite is water for elephants. That’s a good read x
Thnx 🙂
Tell me what genre
