I have just read and enjoyed Adam Hills’, but I have read and enjoyed loads in my time. From Alan Carr to David Jason – both of his – Alex Ferguson, Craig Revel Horwood, Paul O’Grady and Stephen Fry and many others too. It has to be an autobiography, I’m not as keen on biographies.
Loads, I love them. Normally about a sports personality I admire (Carl Fogarty, Ken Shamrock etc) or perhaps a Military or Police link (General Sir Peter De La Billiere, Bravo Two Zero etc).
John bird,Peter Kay….as you can see if no ones being murdered I’m not that fussed ? I did enjoy both Peter Kay because it made me laugh, and John Bird ( who formed the big issue) was interesting and thought provoking.
Michael Parkinson’s autobiography is my favourite, so interesting and well-written. I’d also recommend Anthony Kiedis’ Scar Tissue. It will make your hair curl!
