Going to buy it tomorrow. It is our book club book for the month. We are doing local MS authors. We have done 2 so far and they have both been to the meeting. I did audio books with them but I am buying this one with high hopes that he shows up for an autograph! ?
After 10 years our book club members each submitted a list of the 5 favorite books we have read. Sanctuary was the only book selected by every member. And it’s a memoir, so if yours is one of those book clubs that reads a nonfiction book or two, you can knock that off the list. Neil White lives in Oxford.
I have a copy but have I read it. I am also interested to see what others think of it.

You should read In the Sanctuary of Outcasts. I’d bet Neil White would show up. It’s also a favorite book
@Chan I am making a note of it now. I just looked it up and it sounds interesting. I’ll mention it to the club when we meet. Thank you for that!

@Tabbitha sanctuary of outcasts is a great book
Just started..125 pages into it. Isn’t reading as quickly as his others but I am intrigued to see where the storyline goes.
My husband is reading it now and likes it.
Reading now. Story line shifting gears. Very readable, and waiting to see where he goes with it!
His books are usually good.
A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry is one of my favorite books.
It is different from his other books. I enjoyed it
I have it downloaded. It is far down the list but I’m a mood reader so who knows.
I like his works, on my to-read list
Not great. Goes on and on with little excitement
