It’s sooooooo good. It grabbed me and held on until the book was over. Well actually it still has hold of me. I already got the second one from the library but have to wait until I’m done with The Cruel Prince.
Finishing Mitch Albom’s The First Phone Call From Heaven, fast and uplifting read.. Before that , Kristin Hannah’s new The Great Alone,, excellent… Don’t know what next..
Wow…I’ve not been able to read anything for quite some time now because of my exams. However, I recently concluded: The Dark Half by Stephen King and A Court of Throne and Roses by You-Know-Who
I just finished Clockwork Angel (this is my second time through Infernal Devices) and it’s been so long I have kind of forgotten what happens in these books, so it’s almost like reading them for the first time again.
Just finished ‘the wasp and the orchid’, about the life of an Australian woman who discovered that a wasp in fact pollinates certain types of orchid, in the 1930’s. And because it’s set in my home city, I recognise every place mentioned etc.

I enjoyed it too, but in my opinion the second one wasn’t as good❤️You might think the opposite though x
Is The Cruel Prince good? I’ve managed to snag a signed copy! X
Is it a romance fantasy or just fantasy?
@Holly I’m not that far into it but it’s good so far.
@Summer I believe just fantasy.

Last book I finished before my current read. Very interesting and informative nonfiction.
It certainly looks very informative❤️
The author is a true storyteller because he knows how to mix facts with personal anecdotes to create a fascinating read.
Now THAT is what makes a good nonfiction book!❤️
Another one like that is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. Very hard to put down.
I think someone recommend this to me as one of those “try something different” books once, maybe I should just go for it!?
I loved it and highly recommend it.
The Outsider by Stephen King. It was so good!
Is it very scary? I like his writing but I don’t enjoy scary stuff. I know some of his books are not horror.
Someone was reading this by the pool the other day and he seemed to be enjoying it too?xx Glad you liked it x
@Germaine I didn’t think it was that scary, but I love horror, so I’m not the best judge.
