I’ve never read Danielle Steele till Sunday and I finished two books in three days.
A good woman
The Duchess
Now I want a few more of hers
My favorite Danielle Steel book is this one.
@Kathy dont have that one yet but I’m adding it to my list
You just hit a gold mine. My fave! She doesn’t have any bad books! Keep a list! Wow! Always waiting on a new one!
@Dreama I’ve been at home last couple days and just said well guess I’ll finally read these and I loved them
@Laura Can’t go wrong! I’m excited for you! Been reading her for at least 45yrs!
@Dreama yeah I think I found something else I enjoy reading
My next Danielle Steel read.
I tend to gravitate towards her historical fiction novels.
My next two
I just was given them and told I should try reading them and I’m glad I did

Jewels is good

My Aunt Alleen had everyone of DS’s books in her library.
It’s her fault I read DS.
@Kathy my mom had them all till the house fire and I never read them and been home because it’s been a really had few days for me and just started reading
Message from Nam. It’s soooooooooo good!! Oh, and Heartbeat. And Kaleidoscope.
@Lisa l love Message from Nam

I got four so far
Have loved everyone of her books that I have read! Usually finish them in a day or two because I can’t put them down, they are that good!
Zoya. The best!
I have list and next goodwill trip I’ll be looking for them
@Laura pm me you’re mailing address im going book shopping this weekend and i find her books for really cheap
@Arianna I PM you and thank you
Not a problem. Do you have a goodreads account
Zoya is my favorite to an Dating game i think its called that. And the one on the Titanic is also a favorite.
Zoya is the first book I ever read of hers, years ago. I remember crying on the train hoping no one noticed
@Stacey actually the other book was called big girl not dating game. No Greater love was the first one i had read.
Try the Ghost. Hands down her best book
@Shana I will
I have almost her whole collection. Love her. Message from Nam is a favorite.
I’ve never read her- is she “ fluffy”
DS novels provide a nice “mental vacation” from everyday life.
I had never read Danielle Steele until a couple of years ago. I’m not fond of torrid romances. I was astonished at how they were not trashy and she always had something interesting to teach. I call her books “Pop Corn” reading to relax with.
Years ago I was an avid reader of hers. Loved them all.
Her very early ones are the best
Accidental Heros is wonderful.
I have everyone of her books
I can recommend Crossings and Palomino
The first one I ever read was The Promise-I loved it-it was probably from the 1970’s
I read it before the movie came out
I gulped down her very early books which I loved- the Promise, Seasons of Passion, Wanderlust and Crossings. I think I read her first book in 178 when our daughter was 3 years old.
Many of you wrote about Steel’s early books and read the same books ones I did. I read her books religiously until Message from Nam when I stopped for some reason
I was given a few of her books including her most recent one
I really enjoy her books. More the older ones, Zoya was mentioned, the Vietnam one, her historical fiction ones are just awesome!
So far that’s the two I’ve read. I have zoya so going to read the three I found I have next
PM me your address and I’ll be happy to send you the couple that I have! Otherwise I’m donating them to charity!
@Sharon PM you thank you
Read the winners of hers good good
Malice is a good one
Accident is good! It’s older
My grandfather, WWII vet, adored her novels, and became pen pals with her assistant. He had several signed first editions in the 1980 and 1990s
I hadn’t read her either, until about 2 years ago. I have read, Accident, Fall From Grace (really good) and Fairytale. There are several newer ones I want to read of hers. She puts out a couple of books a year. I really want to read her more personal books as time allows.
Legacy was brilliant
The Ring is hard to find but really good.
I read ‘Lightning’ years ago and hated the story line and ending and never read another one of her books again
The first book of hers I read was Malice. Don’t remember much about it, but I did like it.
I always liked Changes; the couple had so many realistic problems.
@Louise I think all of her books are real life!
@Dreama Not the ones where some young girl marries a very wealthy older man; they’re so happy, he’s a sex God, etc. THen he dies. She marries someone else who is also a sex God and very wealthy. Very predictable.
@Louise After all, that’s what happened in the author’s life too, so I guess that’s her fantasy.
A long time ago I wondered what the big fuss with her was about, so I read Wanderlust & it was better than I expected, but she’s just not for me.
They’re good aren’t they I always enjoy them,Im never disappointed:)
My favorite from her is Wanderlust
I have always read her books but had a break for quite some time. I am now reading Until the End of Time, I cannot put it down. She is an amazing writer. Love her! 🙂
Yes she is
Family Album.
Enjoying the weekend with this DS novel.
@Kathy I found a new thrift shop I’m going to check out soon
My favorite is Kaleidoscope.
