First thing in the morning when I am wide awake with a fresh cup of hot coffee. But anytime is good.
whenever I get the chance. usually listen to audio books in the morning and later once everyone’s up I move to the bed where the light is better
I don’t have one just whenever day or night that I get to read. 🙂

7am. I get to work 1 hr early just for that.
If I wake up before my alarm, then. If not, not until I go to bed. I work 8-5 and then don’t get home until almost 6 after picking up all the kids from their summer programs, then have to make dinner, do baths/showers, and put the kids to bed. So it isn’t until then that I can finally lay down and read. I read until I fall asleep every night. <3 Or on Sundays my husband will sometimes let me stay in bed for a few hours to read!

In the evening, after all the chores are done, nice bath then into bed with the latest book

On the weekends, I love to start reading when I first wake up. During the week, it’s when I first get to work when it’s quiet & people are slowly coming in.
I use to wake up and read first thing, even b4 getting out of bed.

@Amira There’s something about darkness I can’t explain. I just love it. I believe only the sane remain awake at such hour of the night.

I always read in the evenings. Love reading early in the day, too, if there are no other pressing demands.

For me, early morning before the kids are awake in summer or when they are all off to school until about 10am, then I have for to get on with stands and such or I feel like someone might tell at me for being a luxuriant slouch reading the whole day away.
4:30 am before anyone else is up. I let my dog out then read a little while snuggling the dog and usually fall back to sleep
Late evening before I turn in. The house is totally in down time mode and I can read without any distractions, interruptions and intrusions.
I read before I go to bed. Helps me unwind and fall asleep. It’s why I generally don’t read thrillers or mysteries. Keeps me awake
6pm ish
1pm or 2pm. Sometimes at the evening around my bedtime which is 12-2am
