Wheel of time has its own set of cusses if that helps? I mean they don’t say the regular cuss words, they say things like “blood and ashes”.
@Nazli haha I’m using this at work next time lol
@Rebecca when I was reading them I caught myself using the cuss words in real life a few times ?
Nazli Djalali better than accidentally dropping the F bomb in front of customers at work!!! I’ve always enjoyed when fantasy characters have their own curse words.
Anything by Sanderson fits your criteria. Redwall series.
I also think The Belgariad and the Riddle-Master books are ok
For young adult, look at TA Barron’s books
Never heard of Belgariad or TA Barron so I’ll check each out
@Allison redwall was the shit! Taggerung I think it was, was my favorite.
Trudi Canavan is on the soft side like Brandon Sanderson
Okay cool. Thanks.
You’re welcome ?
Frostblood
The Doon Series
A Touch of Gold
Dragonlance
Robin Hobb comes highly recommended and is well thought of by George R R Martin. Start with the Farseer Trilogy: Assassin’s Apprentice.
Robin Hobb is my favorite author and fits your criteria. Definitely start with Assassins Apprentice as if you like it there are about 15 or so in the same world and related stories.
@Michael warning that Assassins Apprentice has “sex” scenes but it’s more like an emotional description rather than a physical one
Robin Hobb is my fav no gratuitous sex scenes I’ve given it to my 13 year old in the hope of getting him hooked!!
@Jeremy I just reread it about three or four months ago. I really don’t think there is anything in the first book that would be considered in that realm. I agree that in later books there is more along the lines of what you are saying. For what it is worth my 10 year old is reading the series, I would say no scenes of intimacy get beyond a PG rating.
World of Linaria series! Dragons, airships, and sky pirates! The main sky pirate swears now and then, but there’s no romance at all
Here’s my book! http://www.lulu.com/content/e-book/the-white-tree-the-celtic-oval/24331165
the war of kings. Sanderson
Way of Kings?
Sanderson fits the bill!
I have a self published comic book series for 2$ which fits that discription if your interested
Grisha trilogy by leigh bardugo
Trevor H Coolly’s Bowl of Souls
The Missing Shield by Linda L Thomsen. Brilliant series of books
The Steward Saga. Chronicles of the Black Gate. Travelers Gate.
It’s Friday, so why not, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BGB7WCY 🙂
Percy Jackson series!
Divine Dungeon series by Dakota Krout, absolutely fits your requirements. It’s very D&D-esque and touches on litRPG but a very satisfying world to get into and fun character dynamics.
YA at its best!

Skullduggery Pleasant
Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger.
Silver Sagas series by me. 🙂
Brandon Sanderson has been said a few times, and I agree. No sex I can remember, cussing minimal, almost non-existent.
Very talented writer, one of the best world builders you will ever read.
Good entry point would be Mistborn Final Empire
Anything by Gemmell
My Penny Lane, Paranormal Investigator series.
All of mine are very clean! Start with the Dragon Orb if you like dragons or with The Path of Destiny for good sword/sorcery/arthurian. https://www.amazon.com/Mike-Shelton/e/B01BN2KQKC
Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs
The Dresden Files
Jeffery Poole Tales ofLentari
Check out all of Charlie N. Holmberg’s works.
Bakkian chronicles Jeffery Poole
Terry Pratchett
Robert Jordan. Some sex, but not graphic
#sevendoorsofsatan
Dang. Not even the Bible qualifies, too much sexy time.
I think the title is very cheesy and so little of what the series is actually about but I LOVE richelle mead, her series Vampire Academy and the spin off blood lines were AWESOME with little to no sex but totally gripping.

Green Rider Series by Kristen Britain
Dragonlance, Wheel of Time series. Brandon Sanderson’s books.
John Flanagan’s Ranger’s Apprentice series is excellent. I “read” the audiobooks with John Keating reading. He’s the best. Couldn’t wait to get into the next book of the series. I’m listening to Robin Hobb’s Shaman’s Crossing read by John Keating right now. So far, really good.
@Loretta yes! Ranger’s Apprentice series is great.
I would start with The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb first for new readers.
Katherine Arden’s Winternight Trilogy
Thorby Rudbek’s Terraless and Terraless Night
