I adore
Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare (total of 6 books) but the series are sequel to Infernal Devises and has some spin offs you may enjoy. But since is a movie and now is aired I think the last episodes of the series you may already know it so…..
I also enjoyed
The Inheritance Circle by Christopher Paolini (total of 4 books)
The Marked by Bianca Scardoni (total of 4 books ends with a cliffhanger so hoping for another)

Last year I read The Body Institute by Carol Riggs and loved it.

And I will always recommend anything by Kendare Blake. I love her Three Dark Crowns series especially.
