Me too, but I told a fellow book lover in my family about it the other day and she said I must be the only one because she never finds anything that interests her. I thought I would see if there were more people who loved to go to dollar tree to see what they have. Their stuff might not be brand new, but I really love finding good books there.
I was mainly talking about books, but I find a lot of other good deals there too. My favorite pens, i have only been able to find them there, and I dread the day that I can’t find them anymore.
Read a book about a man who accidentally killed one of his classmates years ago. From Dollar General now reading Dinner With the Smiley’s. Father deployed so mom and three sons invite a different person once a month for dinner. U.S. Senator, police chief, boys teachers. Fun book.
A couple of months ago I found like 5 true crime books there and once in awhile come across New York Times best sellers to. Now I check every time we go there.
Yesss! Books I was about to spend $20+ on for the paperback i got the hardback at Dollar Tree for $1!!!! Also Dollar General has some good ones anywhere btw $1- $4 o once got 2 books there for 2 cents each!!!!! Plus as a daycare teacher i find lots of cute things at both Dollar Tree and Dollar General to decorate my room with?
I’ve found a lot of good books at Dollar Tree.I usually look them up for their ratings on Amazon before I buy them.Ive purchased books at Dollar Tree and was surprised at the price of the same book on Amazon. Some were $14
I have on occasion. I bought a Nora Roberts, a few days later, my husband bought me another in the trilogy. It’s hit or miss, but I don’t complain for $1 each!
Yeah me too. I got one the other day and didn’t know it was book two until I got home, but they have the other one on bookoutlet so I am hoping to get book one soon.
I think they get their books from overstock at bigger stores. That’s what I was told me someone who works at my closest one. If I find a good one, but it is book two or something, I try to look on bookoutlet. Found one of them the other day on there for $0.49 so I got the second one, altogether the two books cost me about three bucks when you factor in taxes.
I actually just stopped there and found 5 books! Some are the second of a series…. but oh well! I also found Outlander…. which I have been curious about.
Me too. I have found just stuff, I wouldn’t read if I was bored out of my mind, but I have found a lot of great books for myself and my older child on occasion. My kids like the kid’s books. and the coloring books.
I always find good books there.

I have! Most recently, I picked up “Honolulu” which is on my TBR list. Dollar General is also a good place to find $1 books, too!
I buy all of my greeting cards there. A lot less than regular stores.

Ours never has anything but mass market romances and Janet Evanovich overstocks.
My local one once got backed up like that, around election time, it took them forever to get anything new on the shelf.
I’ve found better one’s at Dollar General for $1-$3
I’ll have to look into that then

I got a couple of really popular books. I didn’t get it, but they had the sequel to the Rosie Project there.
And they have the books by Robert Gailbreath…The Cuckoos calling and the other 2
They didn’t have them in the one I was at, but it could just be that I missed them.

True. I like looking because you never know what you’re going to find.
I need supervision in that store
Sometimes
Some person thought I worked there because I was walking around the store with 9 books ??
The lady just laughed at me. I had a dozen in my basket.
I had a stack that I was walking with I could hardly see we’re I was going ?
But you’d still beat the prices more than anywhere else!
Not dollar tree, but Dollarama yes ?
I have never heard of Dollarama, Ill have to look that up
I’m in Ontario
@Jenneth So it might be a local store? Aw.
It’s a chain store, but I’m not sure where all it is
@Jenneth Still looking it up then. LOL. Love finding new places to get books.
Yes, I have bought around 10 books at DT in the last 4 months.
I actually just stopped there and found 5 books! Some are the second of a series…. but oh well! I also found Outlander…. which I have been curious about.
They look pretty good. I don’t think I have read any of them. I wasn’t even aware that Bella Thorne had written a book. I will have to look them up.
Yeah… I had to find out if she could write! Haha…
Well, she is a good actress. lol.
I haven’t had luck there
Who knew! I guess I should start looking.
You didn’t know that they had books?
@Stephanie I guess I have never paid attention
