Last year, I read books based on seasonal words, like “cider” (for autumn), and all the titles had to begin with C-I-D-E-R, (and “frost” for winter) and that worked out well, but I may not be doing that this autumn & winter, as I have several books I’ve all ready started.
Unless I can get them to spell out an autumn or winter word? ?
Every year I re-read Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern and every fall I try to read at least one scary book.
No but I’m all about a routine so I’m in on this idea
No. I just pick a book from my tbr pile and hope I finish it.
I like to read Christmas Train and Skipping Christmas. Not the movies–the books. They are better–in my opinion only.
I’d need a whole other post to talk about my movie watching traditions. It’s a little crazy.
I started last year, with my 4 yr old, reading a Christmas themed book from Dec 1st to 23rd then a Christmas movie on Christmas Eve.
That sounds really nice. I love to seeing people raising readers.
@Toinette she’s a bookworm for sure. Has to have a book before bed every night and cries if she doesn’t.
@Tina I love it.
