I’ve read Dark Places, but couldn’t get myself to read Sharp Objects….a little “much” for me. I did really enjoy Dark Places & thought the movie was really well done, but definitely was hard for me to read parts of it.
Read both and liked them both, sharp objects touched me more , the thing with GF books in my opinion is that the reader shouldn’t just consider them a suspense or a thriller, she’s more into her characters analyzing and what factors caused them to grow up to be who they are
