If it’s fantasy you seek, The Inheritance cycle by Christopher Paolini is something I still love (Eragon, Eldest, Brisinger, Inheritance)
Magic / dragons are a big part in it, but there are some nice rules about how magic works in that world that make these stand out to me
Farseer trillogy by Robin Hobb is also verry nice to read, but that’s actually more sorta medieval than fantasy cause the magic is important to the storyline, but isn’t a ‘day to day’ thing there
i like the sound of Farseer trillogy – is it somewhat like the song of ice and fire?
Hard to tell since i didn’t read the song of ice and fire :/
But robin hobb also wrote some other trillogy’s in that world so if u like the story there’s a lot to read ^^
@Jan I’ll try some of his inshaAllah 🙂

I first heard about the game, saw the trailer – which amazed me beyond expression, then came to know there’s a book series 🙂
Yeah, both books and games are absolutely awesome. The games follow the books, so it’s best to start with them. But well, I didn’t do that, and still extremely enjoyed both so^^

This one I’ll definitely try ?
The Black Witch Chronicles by Laurie Forest, it does have some wolf-shifters, dragon-shifters, and wyvern-shifters, but they are not the main focal point of the story and NO vampires! These books are so amazing ♡
Ok, I’ll try to try them, thank you for the recommendation
I hope you love them ♡ I cannot wait for book 3, due sometime next year! If you do try them, I would suggest reading The Black Witch, then the two novellas (Wandfasted and The Light Mage, sold together on paperback as The Rebel Mages) then The Iron Flower! They are so beautifully told and they tackle relevant issues of today with amazing characters and growth for said characters.
