I plan to request his My Southern Journey..he’s close to me in age, and so his stories of growing up in the South coincide with my trips to Florida with my mom in the 70s. It will be like doing those trips again, except most people I visited and traveled with are gone..

Razor Girl by Carl Hiaasen, John Dies at the End by David Wong. High Fidelity by Nick Hornby.
A Walk in The Woods by Bill Bryson
Just about any of Bryson’s audiobooks..he had such a dry humor. Love to listen to him.
Alien Bodies and Down by Lawrence Milez
For a real laugh, you can’t beat Hank The Cowdog..read the first one at least just for the insight in why male dogs pee on tires.
Cheaper By the Dozen is hilarious too..specially the audiobook.
One of favorites that I shared with my children when they were growing up. They loved it, too.
The Broke Diaries. I forgot the author. Angela something.
There’s a comedian in the UK named Frank Skinner. I had to reread paragraphs of his autobiography many times because I’m laughing so much
I like Frank Skinner, he’s a fellow Baggie. He was wonderfully understated when he was in Doctor Who
