Read whatever you want to. I’ve just started reading Charlie Higson’s The Enemy, series. I’m probably about 40 years older than his target audience, but they interest me, that’s my only criteria for choosing books.
@Paul I don’t know how well or not it’s written grammatically, but that genre or style does appeal to some; even if it’s not for others. That’s the wonderful this about books, there’s something for everyone!
@William agreed. Jonas-the rebel leader-also started to grown on me more than Cleo. I think it was Jonas anyway.? Been a while and I’ve read so many books since then.
@Shyla you should,it’s only two books, supposed to be a trilogy but the 3rd was never published due to low book sales on book two,the author is encouraging fans to demand a book 3 on Twitter and Instagram
Plus there’s a spin off/prequel series call a book of spirits and thieves series,it’s two books which were originally supposed to be a trilogy but the 3rd was never published due to low book sales on book two but the author is encouraging us fans to demand a book 3 on Twitter and Instagram
If you think they sound good then go ahead, books are meant to be read after all. ? Read what you feel like reading. You only live once, so read some books, especially ones that sound interesting to you. I started then once, but had to put them down.? I love the story and everything about them, my mom just didn’t feel they were right for me just yet. (I agreed with her truth be told.) When I’m older I defiantly plan on finishing them up. ?
Yes my dads 47 and he loved them x
Yes! Books have genres not age limits! ?
@Allen true, but some YA I have started and then put down…
@Heather good point. Some YA books are too YA for me.
@Allen I agree! Not all but some…
Read whatever you want books have no age limits
i’ve never read the series but there are some books that are just timeless. i’m 42 and love the HP series, but most other YA i can’t deal with.
Nothing wrong with giving it a try. I normally borrow from my library, though, so it’s no loss if it’s not for me.
I don’t normally like YA, but I do dabble occasionally. Just to take a break from my usual.

Why not! Enjoy every bit. ?
I only Judge if people tell me 50 shades is great literature.

Idk about classic or anything..but I liked it a lot ? judge all you want, I’ll enjoy my books either way.
You can still read anything you want to age does not matter.
I’ve never read it. But if the plot and genre appeals to you, then do it. Is this YA? I might check it out if it isn’t already on my list lol
Yeah Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes is YA.
Live large.
I’m 48 and read a few YA books. Why limit yourself based on age?
Read whatever you want. It’s a book, it’s not going to judge you based on your age. ?♀️
A good books is a good book. Age shouldnt have an influence over what you read! Enjoy yourself and get you them books!
I’m 51 and I enjoy both YA and middle grade books. ??
age don’t matter in book world
I’ve read the whole series and it’s amazing! Everyone who is interested in adventure, magic and a bit of romance then it’s the series for you!
Why would age stop you from reading anything you want to read?? Go for it!!
As a very old 40 year-old (47), I plan to do just that. ?
Read whatever you want to. Age shouldn’t hold you back. No book shaming here.
You should read them! I’m on book two,it’s a surprise on every turn
@William I agree. There was plenty of surprises, and moments where I couldn’t–wouldn’t put the book.
@Shyla god,I love the characters but my most favorites is Magnus and Cleo
@William ooh, I loved Magnus. This may sound a little mean, but I liked that scar, thought is what a pretty cool touch.
Cleo was slowly growing on me too.
@Shyla yeah,he’s actually a very brooding character but he does care underneath that cold facade
@William agreed. Jonas-the rebel leader-also started to grown on me more than Cleo. I think it was Jonas anyway.? Been a while and I’ve read so many books since then.
@Shyla ok,I got the first book of the spin off/prequel series if you got them
@William thought about trying those not sure yet

I’m 62 and I don’t even care. I re read books I read in high school
I’m planning on re-reading the whole Anne of Green Gables series….go for it and enjoy. Whoops, I forgot to mention I am 57.

Yes. Age shouldn’t matter. I’m 37 and read mostly fantasy and YA. I’m in a fantasy phase right now and can’t get out of it.
Girl…. you’re 40. You’ve earned the right to read whatever you want without explanation or justification!
If it interests you, then read it! 😉
@Kimberly love this ?
