@Kevin A Song of Ice and Fire is the name of the book series. Books are named A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crowds, and A Dance with Dragons respectively.
@Kevin if you do decide to read them (and I recommend you do) read book 4 and 5 simultaneously because they take place at the same time. There’s a layout of what chapters to read in each that probably would have helped me not struggle through book 4
Once in 2009 I was staying with my Lawyer aunt for a while she had lots of books mostly on law and history and they were quite good… Well I was caught reading them and warned never to touch them, She gave me 9 Tinkle Digest’s in return… I’ve them 17 times I guess, they were 100 pages and took me about a hour to finish them. ? That was the first library I visited. Second was my school library where I was scolded for take a big book “Shiva Trilogy” by author Amish Tripathi… It was 300 pages. ? Hardly big
It’s one of the best fantasy series I’ve ever read. The story is rich and intricately woven with complex characters that you’ll love. GRRM’s writing is on par with Tolkien and CS Lewis.
I started it but had to stop somewhere in the 3rd book.
It was tedious and really freaking predictable. I gave up because I’d read it all before. It was just a homage to the greats of the genre and bored the crap out of me.
Wow just tell people what happens a book they r reading now. I so hate that. I didnt post my comment for that to happen. But i guess i dont need to next time.
Watched seasons 1 and 2 and stopped, my son hasn’t read one book but is hooked on the series .. since he took so long in releasing the books the series just goes off the rails by season 4 or 5 , not that it was very faithful in the seasons actually based on the books
I’ve read the first one so far. Didn’t love it per say, but didn’t hate it either. The biggest problem I had with it was it just took so dang long to read. Definitely not a series I can binge through.
Yes, finished them all not long ago 🙂
All of them? I think there like 3-4 books… I found one…Song of ice and fire.
@Kevin yep, theres 5
Lemme tell u something! I’m seriously jealous! I couldn’t get all five…just one.
@Kevin A Song of Ice and Fire is the name of the book series. Books are named A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crowds, and A Dance with Dragons respectively.
Seems like I’m gonna have to start begging for those other 4 books.? Are they worth it tho?
They’re pretty good! Definitely worth a read in my opinion.
Yep begging it is for me!
@Kevin Oh definitely. I wish I’d go back in time and read them again with the same thrill.
Yeah my dream profession is robbery… Book robbery. I own about 500 ish pdfs but those don’t suffice me… ??
@Kevin the first 3 are the best. The 2nd two arent as good so i just decided to watch the show instead lol
Me
I find the Netfilx series tiring…. And waste of time. I could could finish it in 2 days rather than sitting and spending 55 min on watching it.
It’s not a Netflix series for crying out loud, it’s HBO ?
Hey! I watch it on Terrarium TV! So it’s Terrarium TV series!???
@Kevin LOL ok then… ?
it’s on amazon though ?✌️
?️ Me

Yes and if I didn’t have a gigantic TBR pile I’d read them again
Every readers problem.??? I’ve got 30+ ish books on The pil now I’ve got 13 more.?
@Kevin if you do decide to read them (and I recommend you do) read book 4 and 5 simultaneously because they take place at the same time. There’s a layout of what chapters to read in each that probably would have helped me not struggle through book 4
I’m reading them. I’m like reading 3 different books same time?
Gulliver’s travels (rereading it), Dragon of summer Chronicles and Game of thrones.
@Kevin I have not read Gulliver’s Travels but I need to. I have it, just haven’t read it. Current read is Mila 18. I kinda love Leon Uris’s novels
I haven’t read Alice in wonderland!? So we’re even I guess… And Gulliver’s travels might bore you… A bit.
Alice is one of my favorites and I might accept that challenge!
Interesting!? Got a book for me aswell? Or shall it be Alice in wonderland?
Haha I’m good with Alice! Unless you haven’t read Devil in the White City because that’s my all time favorite
Nope i haven’t… I’ll have to see if there free PDF available… Yeah being cheap?
Nothing wrong with cheap. That’s how I buy all my books, unless it’s a favorite!
@Kevin Library!
I live in small village where apparently I’m the only one who’s but about reading…. Nearest library is like 7-8 miles away.
? Books are amazing and people who love books are the best!
Yes
Every last page, took me a year to do it too
Reading it right now. ??
Same!
I have read them, worth a read. There’s so much missed from the tv version. But love both book and tv ?

Yes, twice on most, three times for the first two.
Yep.
Im reading game of throne now. Its good, so far
Don’t get too attached to anyone ???
I figured that out… Hard way. Eddard Stark, Lady, Grey wind and Robb dead….
Wow just tell people what happens a book they r reading now. I so hate that. I didnt post my comment for that to happen. But i guess i dont need to next time.
Sorry!

Now you can have the other 4. ?
Yes! I loved them!
ONE OF THE BEST SERIES I HAVE EVER READ
Best series even though the last book of the series .
Sadly
Sadly?
Yes since the mid 90’s when it came out. Patiently waited for every new book. Can’t bring myself to watch the show
Cuz books are always better.?
Watched seasons 1 and 2 and stopped, my son hasn’t read one book but is hooked on the series .. since he took so long in releasing the books the series just goes off the rails by season 4 or 5 , not that it was very faithful in the seasons actually based on the books
Waitup! You mean the book 5 dancing with dragons isn’t the final one!??
No its not , book six is in the wings
I’m in for disaster if I finish reading all 5 before the 6th is released. Well I don’t like not knowing the end.?
Is 6th gonna be final book btw??
No clue honestly
There will be 7 books in all. Or there’s supposed to be.
I don’t know how you do it, Lori! I’ve only been a fan since 2014, and am not feeling patient. ?
I love the show and books equally and separately.
7 books… 2 more yet to be released…. Well hell it’s gonna be torture…
Its crazy , I finally read them and now I’m in the ranks of waiting
GRRM gotta finish them or most of the reader community will curse him.
I’m a Stephen King fan , I remember the long wait for the last of the dark tower books , its nothing new to me lol
On TBR list…
Yes. Loved it!

All of them waiting for the new novel to b on used shelves
Really enjoyed Game Of Thrones I finished it a couple years back
I did the first few books on audio book. I might go back and physically read those at some point, but I liked the audio book experience.
Loved them.
Yes! Wonderful books
I’ve read the first one so far. Didn’t love it per say, but didn’t hate it either. The biggest problem I had with it was it just took so dang long to read. Definitely not a series I can binge through.
All five, years before the TV series started. Loved them all and can’t wait for book #6!
