There is one near me in IL, I have taken books in to sell. You don’t make much, but gives a few dollars to spend. I also still find cheaper, easier to buy at thrift stores, public library, and sometimes garage sales. The books I buy at 1/2 Price are the ones that I have not been able to find elsewhere. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Very nice location. I worked at the Fort Wayne store and thought it was okay but then went to indy last year and it was like wonderland. Check out the clearance section. They do this thing called superbuys where if they get more than 5 copies of something they mark it down to like 5 bucks and throw it in clearance

I always stop at Half Price books when I’m in Des Moines but I make one last stop at Barnes and Noble before leaving.

Love that store. Have one in southwest Pennsylvania..we moved to central Pennsylvania and not one here. I miss it.
