I liked them when I read them in high school. My favorite English teacher’s family moved to the US to escape the Russian revolution, and she recommended them to her juniors and seniors.
Loved Fountainhead-one of my all time favorites. Just bought Atlas Shrugged-haven’t started it. Have never understood why Ayn Rand is so polarizing. People seem to either love her or hate her. I don’t find her ideology offensive at all. It’s not a matter of agreeing with it-interesting perspective is the entire reason I love to read.
I’ve read The Fountainhead and Anthem ages ago. I still plan on reading Atlas Shrugged at some point. Fountainhead was good, if a bit polemic (an understatement). However, it was a breath of fresh air in many ways.
No.
interesting philosopher, terrible writer
I found her philosophy corrupt at best. Totally agree on the writing.

Yes still popular today.
I loved Anthem.
I love Ayn. I believe I have all her books. My favorite is We The Living. It’s believed to be based loosly on her own life.
I loved her when I was in high school and have read Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead multiple times.
Nope.
I’ve read them and loved them all.
Yes! Anthem is one of my all time favorite books. I read it once a year.

I read them when I was in college. I can’t imagine wanting to read them now.
No
Definitely not.
Anthem was required reading for my 8th grade class. We then had to write the 13th chapter and make a movie of it. Mind-blowing assignment. So great.
I read her in high school, nothing recently. Got a lot out of it then.
i really like atlas shrugged
Me too
My favorite is The Fountainhead
Her philosophy is that only self-interest is good. Altruism is destructive. I strongly disagree with both of those beliefs.
Amen.
she hated collectivism and socialism so much it made her selfish. Agree we shouldnt b forced yet we should want to share
I loved all of her books! I may revisit them at some point!
