Yes! There is a free library box in the neighborhood next to my work, so I often drop off there.
Yes! If it’s something I’m not likely to read again.
I give mine to the library.
I can’t stress enough how awesome http://paperbackswap.com/ is!!
Wow! Good to know.
I used to sell and buy there, then I think they started charging a membership? Also shipping charges are so high.
nope. I don’t pay a membership fee. And shipping is always less than $4
$4 is very affordable for a book.
I usually pay much less for my books.
@Kiara , thrift stores, garage sales, library sales, etc. I seldom buy full price books. Also go to library or ebooks on sale.
maybe but PaperBackSwap has popular books and a much bigger selection than those options.
@Kiara , that’s true. But I am on a budget. I just have to wait awhile sometimes.
They aren’t available in many countries including Canada. ☹
I used to sell to Half Price Books to make sure they would be loved ? but now I give to the library or little free libraries
Usually just donate to the women’s shelter thrift store or Salvation Army.
Does anyone use http://bookcrossing.com/ when dropping your books? Some do not travel far – others have an exciting after life!
I sometimes leave them in shopping centre sitting areas with a post -it note on the cover.
Exactly what i do. A busboy who picked up a bookdropped Alice Walker book was ecstatic.
Yes I do in the 2 free little libraries that we have in town.
Yup! Love donating to little free libraries
