How did you like strange the dreamer? At first I couldn’t get in to it but I wanted to because I LOVE Laini Taylor’s books. I reread it this year and I liked it a lot better. It was slow but I got into it. What about you?

@Imani I’m a blogger. So I am able to request to receive certain books from Publishers.
Usually you would get ARCs (Advance reader copies), but as I’m Aussie, in Aus the publishers tend to send you finished paperbacks instead of ARCs. Why? I have no clue. It just happens that way.

@Imani I wish I was a librarian. They can request ARCs too and they nearly always get accepted.

I’e never had a book on pre-order but I’m excited about receiving 2 Ellis Peters’ novels through Bookdonors to complete my Brother Cadfael collection.
It’s not on pre-order yet, but I am anxiously waiting for the latest Rise of the Iliri book by Auryn Hadley. It is due out early October and I can’t wait to see what happens next!!
I don’t have it preordered, but I’m looking forward to The Winter of the Witch, the last part of Katherine Arden’s Winternight trilogy. Comes out in January.
