@Hussain, I get it. It took me a while to like it, but it grew on me as I read on. I came to care for the characters, and I enjoyed all the book commentaries. Diverse tastes add richness to our world! ?
I love books on books! The Book Thief, The Reader, The Man Who Loved Books Too Much, How Reading Changed My Life, Ink and Bone, The People of the Book…
I’ll add a favorite play to the list, if you can get your hands on the script – Anna in the Tropics. It’s about a Cuban-American cigar factory in Florida in the 1920’s. As was the custom, they hired a lector to read to the workers while they’re rolling cigars. During the play he is reading Anna Karenina, and the story and its characters become woven into the lives of the play’s main characters. A great play, about one of my all-time favorite books. If you ever get the chance to see it somewhere, go!
Love, love, LOVE this book.
Dear Fahrenheit 451, it’s so good.
Picking it up today!
Does it have spoilers
@Hussain nothing specific but you can always skip the letters of the books you haven’t read and want to read.
Not exactly “on books” but about books; I loved Shadow of the Wind series.

The Name Of The Rose
If on a winter’s night a traveler by Italo Calvino

People of the Book, and several mystery series about bookstore owners.
I just finished The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, and loved it.
I’m really sorry Laura but I just couldn’t like it at all?

Of course @Laura I hope I haven’t hurt you
@Hussain, not in the slightest! How boring life and book discussions would be if everyone thought the same way!
I’m taking a screenshot of it! … do you mind
@Hussain, go for it! ??
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society was sort of about books. And more
