Who on here has read Verity?
Meeee. I can’t even decide if I liked it or loved it lol.
I know! I just finished it, started last night and went to bed feeling weird. Now I feel like I need to read a Dr. Seuss book. Wow! Just wow!!
@Kelly Seriously! I ended up giving it a 3 star rating but only because I was totally shaken. I feel like the author deserves higher just because I’ll never get this book out of my head! ?
@Darreth yeah she’ll get a 5 Star from me. I’ve read all of her books and she had stirred different emotions out of me each time but this one shook me up to. But not necessarily in a bad way. If an author can get a “good” emotion out of me like that then I think they are worth reading. It just depends on how the individual reading takes it and how they handle it.
I am buying this tomorrow!!
I’m reading it right now, love my 6 month free KU that came with my new kindle!
I have… it was so good. Couldn’t put it down
@Sue I started it last night, went to bed after chapter 7 or 8, read one more chapter at lunch and just finished it!
Reading now! Someone else posted about it here so I read an excerpt and I was hooked. Had to rush through the end of the book I was reading to get back to it.
? I still have so many emotions about it! Like what the ? was that?!
Not yet. I’m really looking forward to it.
Me!!! It’s amazing but Colleen is the queen of everything!
Just finished it , so good !!
I just finished! Very good!
Read it, very good. The ending????
Reading it now!
I did. FYI, it is free via Kindle Lending Library
Me!!! And what a ride it was….
?♀️ what the what!
I just got it today…
Me — and it was a wild ride!
Reading now. Whoa! So good.
So good. So so so good.
I have. What a trip. Grabbed me from the first page to the last!
On my pile
Gotta get this ASAP- everyone has said its amazing- I’ve never read her as I was under the impression she was basically a romance writer – but after all you guys have posted about it- it’s now on the top of my TBR- ❤️
Anna Lee Huber’s Verity Kent series? Good read.
@Mary this one was by Coleen Hoover-stand alone book
I did. Still thinking about it. So many theories !
Remember there is a Verity Discussion page she set up too. It’s been fun to hash all all the different theories with everyone else there. ❤️
@Michelle is this book by Colleen Hoover?
@Michelle is there a website?
@Kelly Where is Verity discussion page
@Kelly Colleen Hoover has her readers facebook page, CoHorts. I’m part of that and saw the discussion facebook page for Verity. Go to the CoHorts page. You can join from there. She does that with her new books so we can discuss without spoilers for those who haven’t read it yet.
@Michelle thank you, something new for me
I have! My review was “Holy Crap!”
Me! Colleen Hoover is one of my favorites. I subscribe to her monthly book box.
I had never read Colleen Hoover before I read this. I told her in my other discussion group that she’d ruined me for anything else of hers because this just blew my mind!
@Sharon lol! You should give the others a try. They are all good on different levels. None of her books are for the weak as she does hit some hard topics
I plan to, this one was just…wow.
@Sharon little tip. Don’t read the reviews for her books. Don’t read the blurbs and the back of the books. It tends to always give too much away. Just open it and go. I promise you won’t be disappointed. ❤️. Her others aren’t like this one but are still so very good. Open Hoprless and go. Open November 9. Just read. November 9 was my first snd still my favorite. The dedication in it grabbed me and I was in. ❤️❤️
I’ll be grabbing a few at some point!! Thanks for the tip!! ❤️
@Michelle November 9 was a good one!
I finished it in December and I’m still thinking about it. I am a huge CoHo fan but this book blew me away. That Ending!!!! ??
Just finished it yesterday…all I can say is wow…never saw the end coming
Me too. Really enjoyed it.
Me! Loved it!
I just bought I have one book to read before I start
At one point I sat up in bed and thru the book across the room! After I resuscitated my husband (that’s a joke), I picked it up and finished continued. I loved it – but I do sometimes overreact to twists and turns in my books. My grandson recently called and said “Grandma, I think I must have just gotten to the part where you tossed the book!” Haha – He had.
I’m half way through it
It was SO good! I could not put it down…it was just creepy!!
Such a great book!!
@Jenny it’s called Verity and it’s really good!!
