Mistborn trilogies & Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. American Gods & Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Blackthorn & Grim series by Juliet Marillier. His Dark Materials by Phillip Pulman. And, of course, Harry Potter.
@Carina you know I saw a whole bunch of stuff by Bernard Cornwell that looked interesting with the whole Arthurian theme.. also I started the way of kings by brandon Sanderson but stopped because I’ve read a lot of long books lately and I’m not up for the undertaking of another thousand plus page book lol.
I stick with my recommendation the wheel of time Series… read the eye of the world by Robert Jordan. It is so good. Easy to read too. I haven’t read part two yet but I know it would be easy to jump right in.
Lord of the Rings was not originally written to be a trilogy, but Tolkein’s publishers thought it would sell better that way. So, I consider it a trilogy. Harry Potter. Both are fantasy’s, but it is in these fantasy books you find the humanity we all face. I loved those two trilogies and reread parts of them often.
Following.
The Belgariad
I’ve never heard of this one. What is it about ?
The Red Rising series
Anne Mc Caffery. Pern Series
Rereading those now after 20 or so years.
Love this series!
Anne McCaffery’s Dragonrider books, particularly the White Dragon trilogy…wow!
Gotta be the Discworld.
Glass of Throne series by Sarah J Maas!!! ❤️
Harry Potter
Harry Potter obvie ?
I started the quartet moontide ( I read only the first tome )

Thank you!
Thanks everyone! Looking into each recommendation. Ready for that next commitment . Lol
The wheel of time. I’ve only read the eye of the world but it was excellent and I know I could jump right into part two easily.
I’m also a big high fantasy fan so anything medieval lord of the rings ish with wizards and sword and sorcery that type deal is my bias.
Same. Throw in Merlin & the knights of the round table … and that rounds up my interests .

@Tony I’ll have to check it out!
@Carina I’m sorry more historical fiction than actual fantasy the name of the series “the grail quest” threw me off
Historical fiction is pretty good too.

@Tony okie thanks!
Bernard Cornwell does have a King Arthur trilogy … looks pretty good
Charles De Lint; S. M. Stirling; Mercedes Lackey; Marion Zimmer Bradley; Katherine Kurtz; Robin Hobb…To name a few of my favorites in this genre.
@Renee Charles de Lint and S. M. Stirling are great books.

Magic Tree House
Traitor Son Cycle by Miles Cameron is excellent. Rothfuss is fantastic. Erikson’s Malazan Book of the Fallen series is great
Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders
Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire (aka Game of Thrones), & The Lady Trent series by Marie Brennan.
