I’m ploughing through the cousins O’Dwyer trilogy at present. Pure Romance isn’t for me but the supernatural ones of hers hold some appeal. Can’t read them often though because her writing is pretty appalling and they’re all exactly the same plot! This is the third of her trilogies I’ve read and it’s the same story just with different names and some dodgy Irish dialect! Still, a bit of what I call “chewing gum for the mind”.
It so hard to say because I love so many books by Nora Roberts. Obession is quite good, Chasing Fire, Brazen virtue, Homeport, Black Hills and Born in-trilogy. Also like books by JD Robb. I think that I have more than 50 books in my home which are by Nora Roberts. Some are better than some. Plus then there is MacGregor family saga which is quite good and I love those characters.
I am a Roberts fan but that said don’t remember a lot of her books but The Winning Hand (the heroine is a children’s librarian which spoke to librarian me), the J.D. Robbs In Death books are ones I do remember. Roberts is a good writer and I like her recent books: Come Sundown and Shelter in Place. Year One promises to be a good triology.
Omg that is a tough question – been reading her for many years. I love many authors but Nora Roberts is my favorite and she never disappoints. Only books I am not crazy about are the paranormals – her romances and romantic suspense novels are excellent. Try the trilogies – Chesapeake and The Dream trilogies are my favorites. Also the older paperbacks like True Betrayals and Honest Illusions are worth checking out.
Tbh I don’t like her writing style so I don’t read her.
Actually JD Robb is my favorite Nora Roberts. Any and all of them! <3
Thanks!
They stand alone BUT if you read them in order, the nuances are clearer.
I love Nora Roberts. All her trilogies, and her mysteries but really love her jd robb in death series.
Thanks

I have these books I ordered them for my mom but she died before she could read them so I took them one day i will read them
I agree, you can’t read too many of her books due to the fact that they are very similar, but I think the O’Dwyer series wasn’t bad.
