I’ve read some of her books but she doesn’t capture my interest like she does when she writes the “In Death” series as J D Robb. Those books I devour, but her Nora Roberts books I kind of struggle to finish. Weird but that’s how it is with me.
LOL. Danielle Steele could be considered “old school”. I was reading her when I was about your age. With all the new genres out there now, you young people can’t relate to her and other older authors style and subject matter. At my age now, I am reading a lot of genres I would have never considered when I was younger. Times and interest change over the years.
@Mikayla very understandable. I’m the same way about a lot of authors. I am reading an author right now that others rave about but I do not like her writing, i’ll finish the book but it will be a long time before I read anything else by them.
Oh you lucky thing! My friend and I are always saying if we ever get a nice sum of money together,we’re going to stay in her inn,and shop in her bookstore lol
I love Ireland! My hubby and I went there in 2010. Gorgeous, gorgeous country. Next time I want to go to Ardmore so I can see where the Irish Trilogy was based. We went to West Ireland more than southeast.
I have read some of her books. I’m more into murder mysteries like Agatha Christie, Ngaio Marsh, Dorothy Sayers rather than romantic suspense. An older generation is Mary Roberts Rinehart.
This might sound funny but I want to read her but since I tend to bing read author I feel once I start that’s all I will read for the rest of my life. But I am going to start.
Ever since I was a little kid. I used to read anything I could get my hands on and they were always on my mom’s nightstand. I have dozens of her novels. Stanislaki series is my fave.
Meeee!! ?????? I love her. She was one of the authors that got me into reading. Have you read The Reef or Sweet Revenge?? Those two are one of my top favorites
I enjoy most of her works. She had a few that never grabbed my attention like some. My favorites so far have been The Search and her Cousins O’Dwyer trilogy.
I love the Circle trilogy..Morrigans cross, Dance of the gods and Valley of Silence. One of my favourite sets. And i also enjoy her in death series as well

I’ve read some of her books but she doesn’t capture my interest like she does when she writes the “In Death” series as J D Robb. Those books I devour, but her Nora Roberts books I kind of struggle to finish. Weird but that’s how it is with me.

Cool! I hope to meet her one day myself ?
She’s having another signing tomorrow. I only live about an hour and a half away from her bookstore. 🙂
Oh you lucky thing! My friend and I are always saying if we ever get a nice sum of money together,we’re going to stay in her inn,and shop in her bookstore lol
Yep, I spend way too much money in her store. I do want to stay at the Inn one day. It’s my goal for my 20th anniversary (which is 2020.)
I hope you reach that goal ? Who knows if I’ll ever get there,I live in Ireland so,I will have a bit further to travel ?
