I try a different medium like maybe an audiobook or a graphics novel, if that doesn’t help then I take a small break from reading and maybe go for a walk or watch a movie or write something. For me, not forcing it is important because I don’t want something I love to feel like a chore.
focus on something else, go to an event, do family stuff (that always wears me out LOL) do much needed chores..come on you know you have a pile of laundry with your name on it.
Sylvia O’Neill i actually jump to an amish author and totally relax. I read Lisa Gardner’s The Perfect Husband and i was so nervous to park near any vans after that it was crazy. I like her writing style.
