I am reading by category this year- Three thrillers; three Booker winners; three short story collections. You get the idea. At any rate, it broadens my reading and exposes me to a variety of authors.
1984..i carry a copy in my bag.i know it so well.i can dip in and out when i have a moment to myself..

Three men in a boat (To say nothing of the dog) by Jerome K. Jerome. It’s not just the funniest book ever. But it has countless quotes that can be easily apply to any situation.
There are 2 I can think of off hand. 1) like water for chocolate. 2) the daily coyote
Gone with the wind, The Secret Garden, The Outsiders are the first that come to mind.
I reread the book thief pretty much annually 🙂
