Somewhere here recently people were talking about the Icelandic Christmas tradition of getting a book for Christmas…..oh let me go see if I can find it and I’ll tag you!!!!!!!
Oh wait! @Deirdre You were asking for thanksgiving BOOK suggestions??? I was going with the Icelandic Christmas tradition of getting a book – ANY BOOK – and climbing in bed and reading all night long!!!!
Only one that comes to mind is “Family Blessings” by Fern Michaels. It’s the second book in the Cisco series. First one is “No Place Like Home,” if I remember right. Its been years since I read it, though.
Don’t think we know about Thanksgiving.
I like the Icelandic one for Christmas….let’s do that for Thanksgiving too!!!!! ?

@Polly I did see that post. Thanks!
We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia… so, wouldn’t know what to recommend.
Can’t think of a specific book right now but perhaps books that have themes of gratitude or “paying it forward”.
