Inferno by Dan Brown (finish tonight hopefully) but I can’t decide what to read next ? start Wheel of Time series, finish the mortal instruments book #5 I started already lol, or read some of my best birthday finds (also got The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert coming tomorrow in the mail).
@Brandy it is supposed to be really good! I’m glad I found it. I’ve checked it out from the library before but ended up not having enough time to start it before it was due back.
it’s called the TAT series (Thick as Theives) by Melanie Walker, book one is called Trust Me. It’s a great series, I think they’re all on Kindle Unlimited. Fix Me is the last book for the series that came out today
HP Cursed Child. I bought it a while ago but the first time I sat down to read it I was experiencing major stress in my life. I couldn’t read anything and ended up throwing it across the room (That shows you how bad the stress was. I would never throw a book) It took me that long to pick it up again.
I loved it. I read it while I was on breaks at work and not busy (took about 4 days). I loved the concept. I have had mediums tell me that sould are alot like that. You come back and learn more and carry it on to the next life. Parts were sad but I love the view point (through a dogs eyes).
It is a UK crime series. Police procedural. I think it is very well written. So far he has written Cold Killing, The Keeper, The Toy Taker and The Jackjaw. You don’t have to read them in order. I really like police procedurals so if you ever want other suggestions for these type of books, feel free to ask ?
I’m more of a fantasy reader myself. But there’s a few sci-fi books out there I love. One of my all time favorite series is Red Rising by Pierce Brown.
@Terri It’s an interesting take on The Egyptian and Greek Gods, with some Aliens, and a girl that in essence regenerates. I think it’s well written and the story is one that keeps me turning the pages. 🙂
Re-reading The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman. I should be reading Things Fall Apart by Chanua Achebe though. Only started and read 1 chapter but I’d rather do a love-book than depress myself over history. It’s quite depressing for me but I will definitely get back to it. Have to.
Just started ‘The Hatching’ by Ezekiel Boone… About spiders gone wild. And what’s not to like about our cuddly 8 legged friends crawling in and out of our noses as we sleep huh?
@Terri I’ve read it several times. It’s one of the greatest novels ever written. Don’t read an abridged versions. They are useless! The whole book is amazing and you can’t take out a paragraph without losing important pieces. You should read it. If you decide to, we can buddy up. It’s good to talk to someone who has read it before the first time. There are sites on the web that have translations and academic explanations of the meanings of certain Latin phrases that are included in the book.
