I’ve been trying to get into The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt but I find I’m not sticking to it. I don’t think it’s the books fault though lol I’m just so tired outside work and can’t read during work ?
Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith, Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, The Optimizer (free translated cos it’s German) by Theresa Hannig and Sophia, the death and I by Thees Uhlmann.
Is it good? I’ve read Fingersmith and The Paying Guest. I’ve had really mixed feelings about both. They were both interesting and provocative but in the end I didn’t love either. But so much on the fence that I’d be willing to try another.
How is it? I have to know!
@Theresa, 39 pages down, I love it so far. ??
