One Dark Night by Tom Bale. My current read and it brilliant
@Susan I have read it
@Sarah can’t wait to get to the end!
Tom Bale is decent
Nothing worse than finishing one of Louise’s books! Give me a #bookhangover every time!
Thought it was a bit tame!
Though I will buy the next
Just reading Liz Mistry
Also when I was bereft if books to read Robin Roughly plugged a hole
X
@Hazel I really enjoyed it .
@Hazel robin roughly
Charlie Gallagher’s Langthorne series
@Maria will look at this
@Hazel think 6 in the series they are very good
@Hazel the 1st 3 in the series are on offer on kindle too?
@Maria I like to read a whole recommended series at once !
@Hazel me too. I bought the 1st three and then kept going I was raging when I got to the end of them
Snap by Belinda Bauer, Thirteen by Steve Cavanagh, Crimson Lake by Candice Fox.
‘Dark Matter’ by Blake Crouch. It’s a thriller but borders a touch on sci-fi. The best book I’ve ever read.
The ‘Perfect’ series by Helen Fields?
Agree with Linda Lee on Steve Cavanagh’s Th1rte3n, a tad addictive. Also The Confession by Jo Spain or Black Water by @Cormac. Or a wee book called @Burning…
The Craftsman by Sharon Bolton.
Will look for that one thank you
@Sarah I thought it was really good. Hope you enjoy it. x
The Puppet Show by MW Craven. Great characters, excellent story.
@Janet read it
Dave Jackson’s Don’t Make a Sound?
Loads of good suggestions
And just about to load my kindle !!
White Birch Graffiti written by some Dutch guy. It happens to be $0.99 on Kindle for right now. Timely story. A presidential election brings home to roost one man’s dark, childhood secret.
Try the Jack Ryder series by Willow Rose
Try Whisky from Small Glasses by Denzil Meyrick. This is possibly where LJ Ross got her character idea from? Good series of books about DCI Daley
@Al I have read these and agree!
Hi Al, I’m sure Denzil’s characters are very good but I’ve never read any of his work, so can assure you my character ideas are my own ?
@Louise I’ve not read anything by Denzil Meyrick but I was certain DCI Ryan was your own creation!
I wiill second that, i have just started whiskey in small glasses and am loving it, have now downloaded the entire series.
Also John Carson’s DCI Frank Miller series. Busy reading book 4, Watch me Bleed
Quarry series. Max Allan Collins. Hard boiled fun stuff from the guy who brought us The Road to Perdition.
You’ve probably read all the same books as me
Ah stop recommending series! I’m.flicking between this thread and checking them all out in Amazon my credit card will explode?
The simon becket Dr hunt series
Have you tried any of the series by Joy Ellis. She has a couple which are set in the Fens in England. I love them.
@Sharon, I have them on my tbr pile & am looking forward to reading them after the Helen Fields series?
Have you read Here and Gone by Haylen Beck @Sarah? It’s brilliant
Yes read all the Joy Ellis books and really enjoyed them.
Angela Marsons Kim Stone series…9 great ?
I have read them all
