Me too! Did you read it or listen to the audiobook? I went the audio route, which was great. The narrator was really good. It was my first book by Winslow. I’m thinking of reading Power of the Dog sometime soon.
I read it and it was also my first book by this author. I hated for it to end. I looked at his other books and was quickly overwhelmed. I’ll have another look at Power of the Dog since you were able to single this one out!
After The Force I listened to an audiobook called Cash City by Jonathan Fredrick. It was an Audible production and surprisingly good. The subject matter was dark in some ways like The Force, but the sarcastic humor gave it a lighter feel. It was good.
The Force by Don Winslow
I’m in love with this book.

I’ve heard the most about a book of his called The Cartel, but these two books go together and Power of the Dog is the first of the two
Thanks, I didn’t know that, now I definitely have to read it. The Force was a book that spoiled every book I tried to read after it for quite a while.

Woman in the window! All Linwood barclay and Harlan coben.
All the Missing Girls is good if you can deal with the reverse chronological order. Also Silence of the Lambs is a classic that really holds up.
I couldn’t deal with the reverse order. I left some unread. I felt I had already ruined my ending lol
@Cassandra I get that, there were a lot of surprises in those last chapters though!
I guess I should have stuck with it
Louise Penny writes good ones.
