Armor. By John Steakley. Great character development and storyline. Centering around a few key characters and an interstellar war against huge ant-like creatures. NOT like starship troopers, which, while kinda fun, was not what I’d call “good”. Armor is One of my top 10 books of all time.
A time travel novel in which the protagonist went back centuries into the past as part of a scientific experiment. THE HOUSE ON THE STRAND by Daphne du Maurier.
Passenger is really good, but it deals more with time travel than anything but there are some pretty cool experience in Cambodia and Syria I think in the past. The second one just came out in January
Oh and Ten Thousand Skies Above you there’s two other books for this series also out and this one is really interesting and has to do with alternate dimensions so it’s syfy fantasy
Science Fiction time travel? Wow, I hadn’t realized I’ve only read two of those… Time Machine and one of the Star Trek novels XD I had to look it up, here’s the link so we both get Goodread’s input. https://www.goodreads.com/search?q=time+travel

Time traveler’s wife. Book is great. Movie has a different ending but also great. I really really liked it.
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
Has anyone recommended Dark Matter by Blake Crouch yet? Sci-fi, multidimensional travel, shooting things, etc. Blake Crouch is genius.
Have you read Footfall by Pournelle and Niven? 1985.
Footfall is a great book.
Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut!! It will not disappoint.
