I didn’t enjoy the second half as much. I wasn’t invested in the lives of the second and third generations. I loved the story of Sunja and Isak.
There got to be a lot of characters in the end and it was a little hard to keep track of them or care about them as much. I still liked it a lot though.
I tried but at the end I couldn’t finish it – I gave up with maybe 60 pages left.
I was really into it at first but now I feel like it’s dragging a bit
