Just finished Ove ?
I’m guessing it was just ok or somewhat disappointing? Haven’t read it yet.
Is it as good as advertised? I read the sample on kindle but not sure if i should buy it.
I loved it.
Finally someone else who wasn’t overwhelmed with Ove (or Britt-Marie or Grandma). I felt like a freak after seeing all the raves. However, I did not give up on this author. Loved Beartown!
I found Beartown to be extraordinary. I loved the thread of “moments” that was woven throughout the book. I loved each and every one of the characters…even the unlovable ones. I also seriously loved Ove. Britt-Marie and I are just meeting each other…not so sure about her! And Grandma hasn’t made her way to my inbox yet. ❤️
Your smiley face does not look happy!
I ❤️ Ove!
Ove was brilliant ❤️
I also wasn’t wild about it.
You chose the perfect emoticon, Jackie.
I loved the book. But I get not all books have the same effect on everyone. Sorry you didn’t totally enjoy it.
As the saying goes, Marla, “If a book has a thousand readers you have a thousand different books.”
This book have me all the feels. I loved it.
I loved it, too.
I loved it! ❤️❤️❤️
Liked but didn’t love Ove. Loved Beartown.
I didn’t care for it. ?
I’ve read Ove and Britt Marie. Both books use rather, er, eccentric, sometimes annoying characters, who, after a while, become quite endearing. Both books are well-worth the read. Give each of them a pass for a while. They grow on you.
I didn’t think it that good
Starting it today.
I really liked the book and the characters
Anyone who belongs to a Homeowners Association should be required to read Ove.
not happy? I loved that journey with Ove.
I liked ove. Found it sad, hopeful and funny
