I’ve always been hesitant to read any Jodi Picoult book…. but here goes. Second Glance or Sing You Home?

Second Glance or Sing You Home?
My sister’s keeper.?
Ive got this but haven’t read it yet
You should @Emma.?
I want to read her writings but I am so broke.
Library!!
I dont think we have a near kind of library here @Amy
@Angela oh that sucks 🙁 everyone should have access to a library
@Amy , we have a school library, which contains not these kind of books
I’ve never read anything from her but i am planning to
I enjoyed reading Sing you home, but my favourite of hers is House Rules 🙂
House Rules was one of my favourites too
I read my first Picoult book this year for my book club – Small Great Things. I enjoyed it but don’t know if I would jump into any of her other books.
Second Glance is an enjoyable read. She’s one of my favorite authors.
Jodi Picoult is my favourite author, not chick lit at all in my opinion. My favourites are house rules, plain truth, tenth circle, small great things and the story teller. Hope you enjoy ?
I read the pact and enjoyed it
Second Glance (if you like environmental/cultural issues like Standing Rock Dakota Pipeline protests).
Good author –
I have read all her books and loved every one of them.
The storyteller was wonderful
Her books are amazing… brilliant stories
Love her books
I was hesitant too but then I read 1 and now I love her books
Handle With Care is just…. oh… the feels, it really got me going and after reading it from the library i had to go out and buy it.
Sing you home..
Sing you home would be my choice.
I find her to have the most boring style. If I had to advise, I’d say choose another author
Her and Nicholas Sparks…I’ve read and enjoyed a book or two and enjoyed them but then things start to get redundant with them both
My Sister’s keeper by Jodi Picoult is the best! ❤
I’d agree, right until the ending which freaking sucks.
But I think the ending was to teach us about the unexpected turns life can take suddenly.
I just sort of hate the mother in it. Like I know she faced some excruciating life choices. But that ending makes me wonder if she’d EVER really loved her other daughter at all. If she pretty much used her like she wanted.
It’s something to ponder upon. ?
I am sort of equally pissed at the mom in Handle with Care. Because it kind of ends on a similar note only differently.
Julia? I hope you are not referring to her because I actually kinda liked her.
No as a mom she was great and I saw how much she loved Willow. Buut I wondered why she buried the check with her. I may sounds really petty buuuuuuuuut. It’s not like that family’s financial trouble was going to disappear all of the sudden because Willow died. And yes the money was for Willow but they should have used it anyway.
Umm are we still talking about My Sister’s Keeper? Because the character that you mention aren’t there in that book!
Any book by Jodi Picoult is worth reading!
Currently reading “Small Great Things” by her and it’s pretty good.
Second Glance, it really don’t matter to be honest. Everything she does is amazing!
I’ve loved all her books!
“Second glance.”I didn’t care for “Sing you home.”
I love her books! ,,House rules”- the besssttt,in my opinion
Love change of heart will read again but her books are hit and miss
Jodi is my FAVORITE… why are you hesitant??
Second Glance
Jodi Piccoult is amazing! My favorite is definitely Nineteen Minutes.
I’ve only ever read one of hers, called Lone Wolf. I’m generally not into the Chick Lit genre, but a friend gave it to me, so I read it. Kind of predictable, like every book ever in that genre, but not bad.
Second glance. I don’t think her last few ones were as good.
She is a fantastic author – I’ve read a few of hers and always find them incredibly well researched & very thought provoking. My favourite is 19 minutes, absolutely heart breaking but it’s a story that’s stayed with me for many years after reading xxx
Second Glance
House rule and small great things
I’ve read almost every book and enjoyed each one.
I like her books.
Love Jodi Picoult!!! Love House Rules
Vanish was my favourite. Read it twice.
Her most recent, Small, Great Things, was great.
Love Jodi picoult
Sing You Home, not a fan of her early books
I’m reading Plain Truth. I’m enjoying it so far. I have only read one other which was My Sister’s Keeper which was excellent.
I own Second Glance and Sing You Home so it will be one of those. I’m not much of a chick lit person and am afraid it might be depressing. We shall see. 🙂
Went through a deep depression and didn’t read much, she is the reason I started reading again and have never stopped.
I own all her books including her books written with her daughter and the graphic novel. Favorite is Handle With Care .
I’ve never read a Jodi Picoult book! Any opinions on what would be a good one to start with? ?
Her newest book, Small Great Things, is amazing. I like the fact that I can tell she’s done a lot of research when writing all of her books.
I can’t! Her books break my heart and I bawl. Now that you mention it, Jodi Picoult books are perfect for summer! Hahaha 🙂
The Pact left me an emotional wreck.. Obviously the subject ( suicide) is tragic. It was all I could do to finish it.. I was a mess for about a wk…
Love her my favourite house rules
I really liked Salem Falls!!!
I love all her books!
I love all her books, but Sing You Home is way better, IMO.
Second glance i love her books
I like her one that had a comic in it too
I’ve only read one of hers, My Sisters Keeper. It was really good! After you read one of those books, you should read it.
Yes and the book is so very different than the movie in parts especially the ending
Oh yeah! I was definitely surprised by the movie! Talk about a twist 😛
My favorites are 19 minutes and The Pact
My own personal favourite is Nineteen Minutes but of those, I’d go for Second Glance.
Second Glance was not one of my favorites .
Leaving Time, My Sister’s Keeper, The Pact, and Nineteen Minutes are my favorites.
Yes
You can read any of her books – excellent.
Nineteen Minutes
