I’m looking for fantasy recommendations with immersive worlds and magic systems! I’ve already read all Brandon Sanderson and love him.

Have you read any Patrick Rothfuss or Terry Goodkind?
@April I’ve thought about reading Rothfuss but I’m already waiting for Winds of Winter and don’t want to wait for any more books ? I haven’t read Terry Goodkind!
Try his Sword of Truth series. The first book is Wizard’s First Rule. I think there are like 12 books? I’ve read several of them and they were enjoyable.
The Sword of Truth series is definitely worth your time. Great recommendation!
The Winternight Trilogy is really good! By Katherine Arden.
Raelee Puckett-Sharpless love this one!!Vasya is easily one of my all time favourite characters
I’m on the last one! I’m hoping I can find some time to finish it during the semester. I read book 2 over my spring break and I take so many classes it’s hard to find time to sit down and read.
I’m jealous you get to still experience the last book though! I hope you enjoy it ?

Following!
Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett is awesome! Only the first book is out now, but there are more books on the way!
If you’re okay with more YA, Leigh Bardugo’s novels have a really cool magic system and a very immersive, well-developed world. The original Grisha trilogy is okay, but the Six of Crows duology is incredible, and King of Scars is really good as well!
And if you are okay with dark/violent things, the Nevernight books by Jay Kristoff have some of the coolest worldbuilding ever, and a very mysterious form of magic involving shadows.
@Kathryn I’ve been curious about that one! Thx!
I find the magic system in the Grisha verse trilogy to be a lot of fun
I second Foundryside and would also recommend his first trilogy, the Divine Cities.
Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
Seconded! ❤️
I know, right?!
So much YES!
It’s not magic but have you read the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi? I highly recommend it
Diana Garner have you read the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi? It’s not a magical series. It’s dystopian. I highly recommend it if you haven’t read it yet

Elizabeth McNeil same to you!!! ?
The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King, if you haven’t already read them.
Haven’t read it yet, but have heard great things about the Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon.
