Yes see me and the longest ride took forever to read I never did finish the longest ride. The best of me was amazing I even name my son after one of the characters
I’ve yet to read any of Spark’s books, (Because none of them came across as appealing.) But I’m not opposed to it. It’s possible that maybe they just weren’t appealing at the time I looked them up. 🙂
I read many of his first books and loved them all. I quit reading him for a while and just read his latest book Two by Two. I was not impressed. The book was hard to get into, the ending was good but the editing was terrible.
Agree with Karyn, something has gone wrong with his latest books, have bought them, which I now wish I hadn’t, and they were not up to his previous writings. …
Well I can’t wait to read the one’s that I have of his… my local goodwill had many of his books, I wanted Safe Haven but it wasn’t in good condition … 🙁
Reading it made me upset that they ended the notebook (movie) the way they did. It would have been great on film if done right and he himself worked on the screen play and script
Not almost ALWAYS they’re always better than the movie but some times you get a director that’s a big fan of the book that stays as true to it as possible (Chris Columbus with the first two Harry potter movie’s) and others you end up with queen of the damned
I have everything that he has written except the last two or three. I have loved reading them all but lately I have less interest. My favorites are Message in a bottle and the Notebook.
I read all bis books and really enjoy them, that said, so.eti.es they don’t transfer well into the best movies. Something gets lost I the mix, however Safe Haven, the Longest Ride did well, stayed close to the book.
I use to love his first books but I haven’t liked the last couple of books he has written. I sometimes think he is more interested in making movies instead of his writing. Two by Two was hard for me to get into and the editing was terrible.
Some yes and some no. I’ve found them to be very hit and miss. I enjoyed The Choice and Safe Haven. I really did not enjoy The Best of Me.
I agree with @Jenn. I have yet to read his new books
I have the same feeling about Sparks. I liked the same ones the @Jenn mentioned and also “The Longest Ride”. Still trying to get through “Two by Two”
I love the movie for The Longest Ride. I haven’t read the book yet 🙂
I sill have to get two by two. I have the book see me which I still need to read
I have liked all of his that I have read.
I have also liked all that I have read.
Agreed. He’s hit or miss but mostly hit
I’ve liked them all. I buy them as soon as they come out too.
No.
Most of them yes. Like all authors some are just better books than others.
Yes he does I like his books
I like his books and I hate romance lol! He’s the only one I’ll read in the genre.
I have Dear John, The Wedding, The Notebook and The Lucky One
Yes! I loved the Lucky One too!
All these came from Goodwill
I have liked all of his that I have read, but I agree that some are better than others.
He’s a good writer. Some books are a little boring and drawn out.
I have liked some of his older ones but haven’t tried many of his newer ones
Yed
Yes
I think his earlier books are great but his last two started off slow but got better about halfway.
Yes see me and the longest ride took forever to read I never did finish the longest ride. The best of me was amazing I even name my son after one of the characters
He’s my favorite author. I named my son after a character in one of his books.
Which character
Landon – A Walk to Remember
Mine is Dawson from best of me
Yes and no.
Not for me…..too sappy and all the same
too sappy for me too
But I have read several of his earlier novels while on vacations
Yes, IF you like those kinds of books . I have to be in the mood.
I read a few of his earlier ones, and liked them, when I was young. I didn’t like the “voice” of the dad in Two by Two though, and I quit it.
Yes
Sometimes. Dear John was really good. I don’t usually pick up his books. I’d rather read another author and just watch his movies.
Yes, some way better than others, but overall very good
I have read most of his books except the last three.
Very good books
Love his books!
Love his work, some more than others. The Notebook will always be my favorite.
Great reads.

His books are quite enjoyable
I’ve yet to read any of Spark’s books, (Because none of them came across as appealing.) But I’m not opposed to it. It’s possible that maybe they just weren’t appealing at the time I looked them up. 🙂
See me is a really good one it is romance with a twist. But I love Nicholas Sparks
Once you have read one you will know his formula..they are all tear jerkers more or less but still fun, light reads..
Meh. I’m not a fan of tearjerkers…to much in this crazy world that makes me cry…well maybe if I feel a need to cry. idk
Some of his books are excellent. I liked “Nights In Rodanthe.
Some of them yes, some of them not so much. The Guardian is an excellent read
Yes
I loved The Wedding & The Longest Ride out of the ones that I have read so far.
I enjoyed The Notebook. I find he writes like a woman, extremely sensitive
ave not read any so can’t comment.
The truth is it depends on if you like the type of genre he writes. Some honestly like them…some honestly dont.

Some I like some not so much.
Agree with Karyn, something has gone wrong with his latest books, have bought them, which I now wish I hadn’t, and they were not up to his previous writings. …
He and his wife of over 20 years divorced that might have something to do with it. I have read all of his books except the most recent ones.
Naomi, it’s the last 2 or 3 that seemed to change. ..
If they came out within the last 2-3 years I’ll bet money that that’s the reason. So sad
Probably so
I think his writing has changed since he’s been divorced, too.
I will have to see what his newer books are, I’ve never read his work before…
Great books but don’t touch them without a case of Kleenex a box just won’t do
Well I can’t wait to read the one’s that I have of his… my local goodwill had many of his books, I wanted Safe Haven but it wasn’t in good condition … 🙁
Start with the older ones the notebook and the wedding are my favorite
Reading it made me upset that they ended the notebook (movie) the way they did. It would have been great on film if done right and he himself worked on the screen play and script
Books are almost always been than the movie version!
Not almost ALWAYS they’re always better than the movie but some times you get a director that’s a big fan of the book that stays as true to it as possible (Chris Columbus with the first two Harry potter movie’s) and others you end up with queen of the damned
I love his books!!

I’ve read several of his and I would only read The Notebook again. It just had a spark about it (pardon the pun).
My favorite

I don’t care for his books because they all seem to have the same theme. One or two are ok but then I find them just too “sweet”.

His books ? are great!
I really liked the new one,Two by Two, and I loved Dear John, my favorite!
Dear John was great, but couldn’t get into Two by Two
Not my cuppa tea, but my opinion doesn’t really matter. If you like the genre, you will enjoy his stories.
I use to love his first books but I haven’t liked the last couple of books he has written. I sometimes think he is more interested in making movies instead of his writing. Two by Two was hard for me to get into and the editing was terrible.
loved safe haven and the Notebook have others to read but haven’t read them yet
